Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

1. Website information is not a guarantee

The content of this website describes the Assurance.Support service and methodology for general information. It does not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or professional advice, and it does not create an engagement between you and Assurance.Support.

2. Verification is limited to documented scope

An Assurance.Support verification reflects an independent technical review of a specific application, version, source commit, deployment environment, and documented scope, at a specific point in time. Components, environments, and versions outside that documented scope are not covered by the verification.

3. Software changes may invalidate verification

Material changes to a verified application — including changes to authentication, authorization, data flows, architecture, or deployment environment — may invalidate a verification before its stated expiration date. Verification records identify changes that must be submitted for reassessment.

4. Badges may not be altered or misrepresented

Assurance.Support trust badges may be displayed only by applications holding an active verification, only for the verified version and scope, and only in unaltered form linking to the public verification record. Displaying a badge for an unverified, suspended, expired, or revoked application, or implying that verification covers more than its documented scope, is prohibited.

5. Verification can be suspended, expired, or revoked

Assurance.Support may suspend or revoke a verification if conditions attached to the record are not met, if material undisclosed changes are discovered, or if a badge or record is misrepresented. All verifications expire on their stated expiration date unless renewed. The public record reflects the current status at all times.

6. No guarantee of defect-free software

No review process can identify every defect or vulnerability. Verification means an application met the published Assurance.Support standard within its documented scope at the time of review. It is not a guarantee that the software is free from every defect or vulnerability, and it is not legal, regulatory, or compliance certification of any kind.

7. Paid assessments are governed by separate agreements

Assessment engagements, including confidentiality terms, repository access, fees, timelines, and deliverables, are governed by separate written agreements between Assurance.Support and the client. In the event of a conflict between this website and a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
